#702: Fix TDG display for continous services

Kennan Gaham requested to merge 3.11/702-fix-tdg-display into 3.11/sprint

This was due to an uninitialized variable _splitContinousServices. As this is not used anymore, it has been removed, as well as some dead code that was written.
